I wouldn't say that either is better then the other but guinea pigs are more calm. also hamsters are most likely to bite some people say but they only bite if they are scared so if you don't scare them they won't bite simple. but also hamsters are actually lower in price and don't need that much room which is a plus on their side but they are also nocturnal and guinea pigs are awake during the the day and sleep at night. Another thing is that hamsters are more active then guinea pigs so they tend to run around a lot more but this is not true for all hamsters . guinea pigs on the other hand are mostly not that active but again this is not true for all guinea pigs . but something that is for fact guinea pigs must have another to lie with they can not live alone but with hamsters on the other hand they can live alone but then again that is not really good because if you try to put to hamsters in the same cage your looking for a fight. also if guinea pigs escape they are easier to catch.
they are not their normal self, less active etc, moody, sleepy more than normal,
This is a matter of opinion. Some people feel hamsters are better because they are smaller and require less space, and eat less than a guinea pig would. Others feel guinea pigs are better because they are more gentler and easier to hold than hamsters. Either way, both species have their pros and cons, and neither is better than the other.
DEFINETLYhamsters stink i have a guinea pig now and i had a hamster to. guinea pigs you can actually play with them and hamsters just sit in their cage already
It depends.......... if the guniea pig is the only guniea pig u have it LOVES to be held and likes a lot of attention. But if you have two or more pigs, they would like to play with each other more than be held. Hope this helps!
Personally, yes. I have one, and they're really sweet and cuddly.
yes
none because hamsters are smaller than guinea pigs
No guineau pigs are much larger than hamsters, and have different habits. For example, hamsters are nocturnel and guineau pigs are not. No, they are different.
No.
Guinea pigs are smarter than hamsters in responding to us.They even respond when hearing our footsteps or when opening fridges. But,hamsters are more intelligent in doing tricks than Guinea pigs.
hamsters have been smaller than guinea pigs and gerbils look like squirrels but smaller
Hamsters ar smaller harder to handle thay have a tiny tail sticking out of their bum they have sharper and smaller teeth and there are not as many types of them as guinea pigs Guinea pigs tails dont stick out they do have one but it is hidden when they bight it doesnt hurt. And they are allot more friendlier
