I never thought of this, especially as I've been in Marketing for 15 years and am not hyperactive, but I can see how it might help. In Marketing and Sales, you do not simply put in a 40-hour week, your success is measured by accomplishments. If you are willing to work longer hours productively, if you are not lazy, you will accomplish more. But that also applies to most fields. Plus, if you are hyperactive but inefficient, I claim you will not have as many accomplishments (in fact you will be more frustrated) as someone who works more slowly but efficiently.
