My theory is, men are statistically taller than women, therefore are at risk from the fact that lightning will look for the easiest path to earth ( hence the highest object ). Secondly, men also have a longer stride statistically than women. This presents them as a higher risk due to the phenomenon of "step potential".....I also agree that men spend more time outside than the fairer sex.
My theory, Thunderstorms are 4 times more likely not to happen in the kitchen.
4 times as much 4 times as much
Men are 82% more likely to be fatally struck by lighting then women due to their outdoor sporting. Some suggest this is due to risk taking behavior typically associated with men. However the evidence clearly indicates that these fatalities occur when golfing, camping and fishing, activities which though they are currently culturally dominated by men are not generally considered dangerous. http://www.popsci.com/scitech/article/2009-09/are-men-or-women-more-likely-be-hit-lightningSome people make up unscientific reasons that simply demonstrate their subconscious social biases..ex: The reason men are stuck by lightning four times more than women is because we have more iron in our bloodstream compared to women who lose their iron during menstruation every month when they have their period.science: men and women have the same amount of iron in their blood, women have slightly less iron stored in their liver, due to menstruation, then men and the elderly. The Liver is not what is struck by lightning It is the Golf Club which is struck by lightning. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_iron_metabolism#Body_iron_stores
Possibly. The odds of being struck in any given year are around 1/1,000,000, or 1/10,000 during your lifetime. The worst place to be is out in the open, followed by being under a tree. However, statistics appear to indicate that up to 4 times as many men as women are struck by lightning (80% of victims are male), and more so in young adult males. There is no real explanation for this, but it's probably because young men are far more active outside and take far more risks during storms. Men are less inclined to walk away from recreational sports, for instance.
None
The tallest person or object is more likely to get struck than anything else. But don't get me wrong anything can get struck by lightning. and if you wear rubber soles you more likely not to get struck.
No. Everyone has the same chance of being struck by lightning.
Die, because lightning is very dangerous
Does eaten mean eaten completely or jsut attacked? If completely, you are more like to be struck by lightning
If it has more trees, they will get struck
I have no idea what you mean by "meteor ray", but getting struck by lightning is far more likely than getting struck by a meteorite.
Lightning only occurs during thunderstorms. There is a slim chance of getting struck by lightning. Being struck by lightning will do 5 hp (Two and a half hearts). If lightning zaps a pig it turns into a zombie pigman, a villager to a witch, a horse to a skeleton trap horse, If a creeper is struck it turns the creeper into a supercharged and more dangerous creeper.
i think a farmer
