Phones are banned in schools to provent pupils going on there phones... Sometimes they have this rule to prevent the pupils excessing internet or messaging during a lesson preventing the pupil from working... As unfair as it seems it might just help you out in life... Although it's fun to go in your phone at lunch.

Mobile phones are basically used for communication. But every school have telephones. Why don't use them ? Also this question is directly related to 'Why we have to wear uniform in school?' Actually, to stop the discrimination between rich and poor we wear uniform (or same clothes). Imagine 2 friends one of which wearing Gucci or Dolce and Gabbana and the other wearing a local brand. They would hesitate to talk with each other. o bringing mobile phones triggers the same problem. Someone bringing Iphone 4 and the other a samsung ..... also you can cheat using a mobile :P ^_^
