Because you are there child. It took a lot to get you into this world and they want to do anything they can to keep you in it. They want the best for you and they want to see you make something of yourself. If they "protect" you, then they "save" your life. That's actually a funny question because it's there nature. Even moms of other species like cheetahs, lions, bears, and deer have over protective. They want to protect you. Although sometimes they go overboard (I've Know), they are just trying to help you.

∙ 14y agoits because they love you so much and they care about you because they broght you upon this earth my mom doesnt let me even go to my backyard or in the pool wothout her there and im 14 but its because she loves me and sure i fight with her and she can get on my nerves but i still love her with all my heart she is my mom and it hurt her to have my so of course shes gonna care love you mom
