∙ 15y agoYou guys are switching to digital cameras because: there's no downtime for processing there's no film to have to store there's no chemicals involved (unless you get regular prints made from your digital images, and then someone else deals with the chemistry) you can quickly categorize and sort images on your computer . . . . . and I am NOT switching to digital because digital cameras don't give me large-enough images. My current work is pictures of buildings...that I shoot in many sections, piece together and print 47 feet long by nine feet high to decorate old ocean shipping containers. We have a new pro-grade 12-megapixel camera and an old 35mm, and the 35mm stuff is far better than the digital.
