Mountain lions are solitary, they mainly live alone. Adults pretty much only come together for mating, and mothers will shoo their cubs away as soon as they're old enough to survive on their own. They have no need to be sociable and likeable.

How are starfish and mountain lions the same?

The name "starfish" and "mountain lion" are both misnomers. A starfish is not a fish and a mountain lion is not a lion. So I guess they are similar in that their names are misleading. Although a mountain lion is much more related to a lion than a starfish is to a fish. Mountain lions share the same Family name with lions, Felidae.

Are there mountain lions in the Savannah?

The Savannah is a giant grass land, with very few mountains. There are still lions, they just don't live in/on mountains because the topography of the land doesn't exist. So to answer your question: No, there are no mountain lions in the Savannah Grasslands. Just hardcore Mufasa-esque Lions, who will eat you if they're hungry enough (this is the height of their Dry Season, after all). Hope this helps.
