Moms are very annoying, but they nag because they want to be on you so you know what to do and whats right. I dont think they should treat us the ways that they do. I wouldn't want to do to my kids for what my mom does. (nothing bad)

∙ 8y agoMothers are annoying because it is their job. Their purpose as a mother is to protect us, provide for us and teach us. We are unable to provide for ourselves until we become adolescent, therefore we rely on them to keep us alive until then. They may seem annoying, but the truth is that they are simply attempting to protect us, even if it doesn't seem that way.
When they are being annoying, remember that you wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for them.
Show them some respect whenever you can. It might just keep them doing the washing and ironing for you!

∙ 13y agoAs a mom I can tell you it is our job to show our kids the difference between right and wrong, to say "I told you so," and to generally put a stop to anything that is new, exciting or dangerous. Believe me, if we didn't love our kids, we would just ignore them and let them set the house on fire, drink all the liquor and get pregnant at 14. We earned the right to be annoying from our moms, and we know we are a success when we hear our sons and daughters being just as annoying to our grandchildren.
As a kid I say they might have lost there life so they need something to do. They might have been cool teens and think there kids are the same. And they think they are cool teens again hanging with friends. (Which is you and your friends.)
We are here to teach you , not be your playmate. An annoying Mom is fulfilling her job description .

∙ 12y agobecause there moms. its there jobs. they nag and irritate you to the point of insanity because its just what they do. theres nothing you or anyone can do about it. they only do it because they care about you. and they love you. no matter how much it may seem otherwise, they really do.
P.S. this is coming from an 18 year old that's been there enough times to know what he's talking about.
