Why do penguins stay in groups?

Penguins stay in groups, not only to stay warm via each others' body heat, but to reduce the risk of being attacked. this intimidates the prey, or if that doesn't work, they can disperse, confusing the attacking animal and making it hard to focus only on one penguin.
