We Red heads are called Ginger Because our Hair. My Uncle's Name is Rusty because of his hair my mom is called appercot And I'm called Ginger we are all called that because of our Hair. But if your reading this and your a red head don't get upset if you are called either Rusty, Appercot or Ginger its actually a nice nickname I like it! But sometimes People say that people have red hair because they have bad temper and listen don't let that annoy you It annoyed me at first but my mom and Uncle Cheered me up saying "Don't let this bring you down you are one special kid!" I was 5 then I didn't understand what they were saying but now that I am older I know what they ment. I'm gonna tell ya'll a story I go to St.James Cathlioc School there where only 4 red heads One of them is me. When My sister was in Grade 8 she had a friend named Chase Mcdonald. I would always wait for her at her locker after school and I would wait and wait until she came with that guy. And you know what he would always say? "Hi Ginger" and that's how I got my nickname.

Why would people make fun of gingers?
Ginger's aren't made fun of because they have 'red hair'. They are made fun of because they are pale with freckles and have red hair (usually frizzy). They are considered ugly, by people who are not gingers.
