Inbreeding magnifies the genetic defects of any type of animal. Also, people who run the puppy mills may get in over their heads as far as being able to properly care for the number of puppies they generate.

∙ 13y agoA puppy mill is when you take a bunch of poor, helpless, puppies and you test illegal things on them and most of them end up dying or sick or something. and they aren't givin food, beds, a clean place to sleep (or live) or anything else to help keep them alive. THey are kept behind a dirty never cleand cage. Would you do that to a human? I bet you would understand why its inhumane if you thought about the puppies being human babies.

∙ 12y agopuppy mills are so cruel because they basically make the female dogs mate with male dogs until they're too old to make puppies. Then they simply kill the female dogs. the puppies are used simply as pure profit, workers at a puppy mill give absolutely zero thought for the welfare of the puppies.
