Companies are cutting down the rainforests so that they can use the land for other things.

Note that the rainforests are how the Earth regulates it's temperature.

If global warming exists, less rainforests means less chance of the Earth being able to fix itself.
the rain forest is shrinking because us humans cut down the wood for homes and other things and dont realy replant the trees.
