If they weren't there then what they ate would over populate. Then those would eat more of their food and deplete them.
Probably because of the food chain?
If they didn't exist the animals they eat would overpopulate.
is a sharks on top of the food chain
what is the mako sharks food chain
sharks play important role in the ecosystem and without them our ocean would be toxic and filled with sick and dying fish. Sharks are at the top of the food chain so without them the whole ocean ecosystem would fall apart
Nothing preys on sharks. They are the top of the food chain.
I dont know what the food chain is but i know what the diet is
nop RT: Actually, I found out that it IS true. I believe it is something along the lines of there being photosynthetic plankton present in the oceans. Similar to trees, these plankton filter carbon-dioxide out of the oceans with the help of sunlight. Fish, other plankton and other organisms eat these plankton. Sharks help control the fish population, allowing the photosynthetic plankton to sustain a healthy population, or something to that affect. I am still researching...
