Probably because of the food chain?
So they can be food for whale sharks...
Sharks are opportunistic feeders so the answer is pretty much nothing. Most sharks primarily feed on smaller fish and invertebrates. Some of the larger shark species prey on seals, sea lions, and other marine mammals. Sharks have been known to attack humans when they are confused or curious.
Any amphibian creature would be the obvious answer but I suppose most whales and marine mammals fall into this category as well. Sharks aren't scaly like other species of fish and so they'd qualify as well.
sharks contribute to the environment in many ways. They scavenge for food as well as hunt, so the ocean is alot cleaner than it would be if sharks became extinct. also, they help cull the weak and dieased. if they didn't, more of the fish could catch the disease, and their would be a dramatic change in the marine ecosystem. that's not all, that's just some of the important stuff. if you have any more questions, you can contact me at sharkruler5000@gmail.com. im a huge shark fan!!! In ecosystems some factors like nitrogen are considered as a limiting factor. So ecologists started analyzing cycling materials in the ecosystem..
A marine biologist studies sharks. Elasmobranchology is the study of sharks. Sharks resemble the true fishes in external form, but differ from them so widely in structure that they are placed in a class by themselves.

with out planton we wouldnt have whales techonly the whales would heave to move to sharks and or other things. Then we would run out of Sharks so the sharks would eat up as much fish and we would not have fish hardly
Because they are beautiful!
because they are needed to most insects so they do not get out of controll.
Differences in fresh water and marine biomes are:Marine biomes have more salt than freshwater biomes. They have different animals; some animals cannot survive in saltwater conditions, so they are freshwater animals.Three fourths (3/4) of the water on earth is made up of marine biomes, while freshwater biomes are found inland as rivers, lakes, and ponds.
The important of marine law in marine engineering is so that crews know what are the laws when they are enter to other country's.

The marine biome is a more scientific way of saying "an ocean habitat". I haven't seen any sharks prancing through the deciduous forests or galloping over the open tundra lately. I must conclude that, yes, sharks live in the marine biome.
Sharks are a big part of every sea ecosystem so if they become extinct most of the ocean ecosystems would be destroyed.
The biggest fish you can get is sharks and the smallest marine being is about 5cm long so there you have it!
