sharks aren't necessarily aggressive to humans, the only reason they would attack anything is if it was bleeding, looked shiny or looks like it's main prey e.g the great white shark eats seals

Sharks are very less likely to bite you than an alligator would. Sharks have bad seeing so they mistaken you for a fish or turtle.

Why do bull sharks attack humans?

It's not always a bull shark. It can be a great white. It can be a hammerhead. But, you're correct bull sharks are the usual attacker. They are attracted to light at night. Sharks in general do not have good eyesight. They think humans are their daily prey because they think we are turtles, seals, and other smaller creatures. But, we aren't. The shark drowns if it stops swimming. So it is hard for the shark to get its prey quietly. So, if you're at the beach in Brazil (has a lot of sharks there) and hear "SHARK!!!" it means that someone obviously saw the predator because the water is clear there. Psst! You might want to get out!SHARK FACTS:bad eyesightmore aggressive in murky watera lot of sharks in the Bahamasless aggressive in clear water

Are sharks predators or prey?

Since sharks are generally carnivores, they are almost always the predator. But occasionally smaller sharks are eaten by bigger sharks, and even orcas. And it would be possible for a seal or a sea lion to have a go at a juvenile shark. And humans will fish/hunt sharks for fun or food.In those cases, sharks become prey instead. It depends, technically they are predators in nature but with humans being so advanced in technology they can be prey to humans, but in all truth any human that was swimming with an aggressive shark well you know. So I would say my overall answer is Sharks are predators.well hope I helped All of the above they can eat humans like you sitting there... or they can be killed by u
