It's just greed, in most cases. Some people do have very legitimate grievances, however.
Another PerspectiveOn the other hand, so many people simply ignore the law, and what is right or wrong, they place other people in the position of having to sue for their damages. Many people are under the assumption they can do whatever they want to do. You could think of it as greed coming from the other side. All those types care about are themselves and what they want. The only remedy for their victims is the court system and that is what courts are really all about.
