Generally speaking, in modern Christianity, only Protestant and some independent Catholic churches allow for ordained clergy to marry after ordination.
Yes, they can get married. My father was a United Methodist minister!
AnswerPope, Arch Bishop, Bishop, Vicar General, Parish Priest, Father ....
As a matter of fact, they do, though some choose to make a vow of celibacy. Priests are allowed to marry. It is their choice. Bishops however, if I'm not mistaken, are the only ones that take the vow of celebacy. Yes monks too, but they are not clergy.
As far as I can tell Christian Kane is NOT married. I am not sure if he's even engaged or if he is dating or single at this point. I too am trying to do some research on him.
You're not allowed to be a Christian and play for the White Sox (it's a rule of the team).
(I'm not sure what a "nonpracticing Christian" means - I take it that it means that they are Christians but do not attend a church.) Whether they can be married in a particular church depends on that church's policy, and some churches are given more freedom to set this than others, depending on the denomination. Some churches require them to be members to get married, it all depends on the church. Hope I helped!!
Mime is a profession and that has nothing to do with your ability to procreate. Your profession seldom determines whether you can have children. The exception would be that some clergy are not allowed to have children.
In Michigan a couple is married after they have obtained a valid marriage license and had their marriage solemnized by some official who is allowed to perform marriages by the State of Michigan. In Michigan a couple is married after they have obtained a valid marriage license and had their marriage solemnized by some official who is allowed to perform marriages by the State of Michigan.
It is this writers opinion that all Christian movements which seem to be a threat to the stability of a government or the religion of that country which in not Christian will eventually be persecuted. At the time of Christ and for some years before, the clergy or religious leaders held much power in religion and government.
Can't show milk and meat in the same fresco
Yes. In Africa some black men are married to white women. And some white men are married to black women.
The viewpoint varies by denomination and affiliation. For the most part, Christian churches denounce same-sex marriages as invalid and even sinful. There are, however, some denominations whose clergy will officiate at a same-sex marriage, but most do not permit it. There are very few denominations that treat same-sex marriage as equal to opposite-sex marriage. There are some denominations that ordain same-sex married clergy, although most of those do so with the understanding that they will maintain chastity (i.e., not have sex).
