They are killed for their ivory tusks and the results is the poachers are killing the elephants. Ivory is sold and used for various products in Asia and are worth thousands. Even worse is the rhino that are killed for their horn that is considered good to grind up and drink for medical treatment. There are fewer rhinos than elephants.
