Well... Contemporary Jazz is pretty much Jazz Lyrical. It is modern (contemporary) dance with some jazz in the mix. It is usually to soft or medium soft music and the choreography flows. It may have a Jazzy feel to it, or it may not. Contemporary Jazz has more options for themes, choreography, style, ETC. Personally, I believe that Contemporary Jazz or Jazz Lyrical is a fun class to take and teach!:)
The two kinds of Speech Choir are 1. Conventional (or Traditional) and 2. Dynamic (or Theatrical). The first one has no use of costumes, nor props, nor choreography. The choir just simply speaks (or reads) a literary piece together. The other one has all the elements I mentioned.

A speech choir has different elements that are needed to be present and practiced in order to have a great performance. The elements of a speech choir are the members, the piece that will be performed, choreography, costumes, voice quality, pitch, power of the voice, tempo and lastly the staging.
Speech choirs are performance groups that recite speeches in unison, often with elements of choreography and costuming to help bring the speech to life. A very famous one is Geographical Fugue by Ernst Toch.
Speech choir is a performance where participants deliver a synchronized spoken word piece, using voice inflections and gestures. Chamber choir is a smaller vocal ensemble that sings in harmony, often without accompaniment. Both involve group performances, but speech choir focuses on spoken word while chamber choir focuses on vocal music.
In dance, any sort of dance really, you need to be able to listen to the music and count beats, listen for changes in tempo and mood of the piece and be able to adapt your movements and steps to match the music. You also need to be able to keep your steps in time with the music, this is why its important

This is the name of a classical piece of music that was written by a German composed by the name of Carl Maria von Weber. The title of the piece was "Invitation to the Dance."
