I'm a ballroom dace instructor for over 17 years when my students ask me for a show piece I set them up for a demo, ask your teacher and dance coordinator to watch you perform a piece to music they will determine if they feel you are ready for a solo piece be understanding and patient
They should be involved in ballet classes, and the teacher or instructor is the one to tell your child that she is ready for pointe. If she is taking ballet classes, she will learn how to dance in them overtime, but if she doesn't have them yet or has never worn them, of course she won't know how to dance in them.
When your teacher says your ready
The factor of getting Pointe shoes really depends on (1) your ability level and (2) your dance studio & dance teacher. 1. Your ability level: Most good ballet studios allow girls to receive their Pointe shoes at age 12 or 13. If the dancer is extremely talented, she might receive them earlier, and if the dancer isn't as advanced as she should be, she might have to wait a couple of years. You should at least be at an Intermediate-Advanced or Advanced level. 2. Your dance studio & dance teacher:You must be very careful when choosing what dance studio and dance teacher to get Pointe shoes from. Some teachers will let girls go on Pointe when they are 11 or 12, regardless of how good or bad they are at ballet. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS!!! You could injure yourself for life. Some teachers are very strict and may make you wait until you are 14, but at least you know you are 100% ready when you get pointe shoes!
Your teacher should be able to tell you whether or not you have the skill and strength to start pointe. Pointe-work is very difficult on your ankles, feet and legs, so you must be fully developed (ie. though most of puberty) to begin pointe, or else you may seriously injure yourself. The bottom line is, your teacher, if she has any experience at all, should be able to tell you whether or not you are physically ready to begin pointe
"I'm breaking up with you because you can't slow dance with me because (put why you don't want to slow dance with him)" maybe your just not ready to date and feel that romance
these are called pointe shoes and you should get them when your teacher says that you are ready...you can get them at any dance store that sells ballet shoes, and i would recommend using Suffolk or Blochs.

I think that you should have them when your ready not under 25 though.
You should only dance on pointe when you have an experienced dance instructor conform that you are ready. My dance instructor knows someone who went on pointe too early and was consequently not able to have children.
Respect the wishes of your friend. In time she will tell the choir teacher herself when she is ready.
It feels good, you feel fresh and ready to dance.
When your teacher says your ready
it depends on when your dance teacher thinks your ready. . Like your ankles have to be really strong.. to make your ankles strong you can do things like releves in fifth and to second and things like that..
The answer varies by dance school and instructor, but the overall age answer is the same: age doesn't matter. It depends on when you started dance, how often you dance and what level you've reached. You should check with your instructor if you aren't sure how close you are to being ready. Things that are important: *Toe strength *Ankle strength *Calf strength *A good background of ballet There are special pre-pointe exercises that you'll begin when your body is ready and when you've had enough years to dance to start preparing for pointe. A good dance instructor will know a) when you're ready and b) what to tell you to begin.
I think you shlould do a slow dance and make it romantic so yhu can be ready for the bnight ...wohoo!
Maybe, it should be ready for solid food though.
you should do ballet for at least 2 years and even then you might not be ready.ask your teacher if you are ready and if your not then don't get upset just work harder.hope this helps
