1979 The first Corvette was the 1953 so the silver anniversary would be the 1978
The 1979 Chevrolet Corvette air flow door might the stock in the position so that air only blows out of the floor vents. The air flow door is located next to the blower fan.
after releasing the clutch and taking off the banshee will go from mid range to high range rpms that's the power band kicking in. when the power band kicks in it will take off like a rocket. after you hit the power band you have about a second or so to shift. after pulling the clutch in and lifting up on the foot shifter it will go from low rpms to high rpms again and so on and so forth
If your 1992 Voyager does not seem to drop into the proper RPMs so that you are running at 5000 RPMs at 65 miles per hour, the timing belt might need adjusted. It can also indicate the idle is set too high.
cant tell you exactly, but i had a '77 trans am with the dealer invoice in the glove box that was $5400 or so dollars ..
around 700 to1000 rpms low enough so the centrifugal advance is not going to effect the timing so you are sure your setting base timing
The corvette is anything BUT french so to answer your question, NO
An engine revving to high RPMs could be a symptom of many conditions. The potential cause?æalso depends on whether this happens?æwhile idling or while driving.
I think so
Toyota dealers do not say the Toyota 4runner transmission is dangerous. However, there are reports that the engine will rev to high rpms and then peel out, so you may want to avoid it.
PSI is (Pounds per Square Inch), not RPMs (Revolutions Per Minute), so how is this related to a tachometer which reads RPMs? Are you referring to the Superchargers Boost reading on the boost gage? If so, this sounds normal for a supercharger with the engine running.PSI is (Pounds per Square Inch), not RPMs (Revolutions Per Minute), so how is this related to a tachometer which reads RPMs? Ecklers has the replacement cable and "Installation instructions" which show how to get the hood open so you can relace the cable. Tried to attach the diagram, but no attachment tool here.
