But this will fail for several reasons, the first being that the animals the parasites live off of are very tiny. These animals have lower IQ, and a smaller system to take over whereas a human has high IQ, cognitive skills, etc. Will be much harder to infect, and two, most parasites target specifically that animal. You see, humans have not interacted with the jungles these parasites live in due to national and international law. The lack of humans with only a few tribes, makes the parasites not adopted to a human body and mind whatsoever. So maybe if parasites have enough time to adapt to us but no. not today.
