calling the police would be the smartest thnig to do
Umm have you tried going to your local Virginia State Police barracks? That would be a start. Or you can try calling them or emailing them.http://www.vsp.state.va.us/
NO, in NO state can the repoman LEGALLY involve the police. repossession is a CIVIL matter. Calling and coming to your home?? YES, when you are in DEFAULT, the lender can repo the collateral.
yes they also need to knock and state that it is the police
If he come to the house you are living in and is abusive then you can ask him to leave. If he refuses to leave then call Local Police and explain why you are calling. The Police should then come to the house and talk with both you and the ex-boyfriend. Police will then decide if ex-boyfriend should be arrested or not.
Great Compromise
I would get a phone and find a safe place in your house. close the door and lock it. Call the police. Make sure someone is really in your house before calling the police. Bring something for defense. If he or she finds where you are, throw the item that you have that them. Then try using physical defense. In other words start fighting and kicking. By then the police would have come and everything would be back to normal.
Contact the court house or the police station.
Maybe. It depends on the "crime" and who was doing it. If it was a fellow worker you should have gone through the chain of command instead of calling the police. Calling the police was not the proper action. If you were being robbed, then calling the police would have been the proper action. Since you were fired my guess is that it was something between you and a person you work with.
check your state laws, depends if you are hunting or just target shooting. DNR police handle one part, local police the other. In my state is 150 feet from a road or house. If it's your house, in many jurisdictions you can shoot it in the house.
Tell them to stop calling you. If they continue, be sure to report them to the attorney general's office in your state. Continuing to call you after you requested a stop is considered harassment, AND YOU DONT HAVE TO TAKE IT! :)
