Ten gallons for two or three is fine.
Mabye. I've been able to put 2 fire belly toads in a 2 and a half gallon tank and they have plenty of room to hop around. But usually one Fire Belly Toad should have about two gallons for itself. So you could probably but up to 3 or 4 toads in that tank, but if they get REALLY fat, you might want to think about eather putting one of them in an extra 2 gallon tank, or just get a bigger tank. But just remember to have half land, half water, make the water atleast 3 inches deep, not to put them in derect sun light, and not to put to put lots of light and heat of the toads! Thank you!- J
not for long
If it has gills and it can swim.
SAME size fire belly toads. If they arent same size they could get cage territorial and kill eachother, so make sure they are the same size OR around the same size, but have a big cage..mine, Violot, lives in a fish tank its BIG and she loves it and im getting her a friend frog today..he might be more than a friend though..idk. Hope I helped!!
I have a terrarium with two red eared sliders, and 2 fire bellied toads along with many fish and other aquatic animals. I was wondering the same question. I have had mine living in a 100 gallon tank with my turtles for about a month now and they seem to get along. In fact, today the frogs were hanging onto the shell of my turtle enjoying a nice little ride. As far as I can tell, as long as there is plenty of food in your tank for the turtles to eat and not think of your frogs as prey they should be fine, but like I said I'm not sure.
fire belly toad.
Yes. If the tank has black or dark substrate, over time they get substantially darker. They shed skin about once every 2 months. Sometimes, the other frogs will help pull skin off their backs.
Well you take bubbles and but them in a tank It's true i tried.
Uh, I really hate to put you down, but my dog ate my fire bellied toad, he puked green puke that night and was dead the next morning. He was really old though, 14 years. So it might just be because of that.
well if you want to feed them in the winter use it if not turn the heat down on the lamp or turn it of at noon or when you get home from school!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It can be 3.5 ft deep, but you may prefer to give them more "land" space.
