The diagonal lines across the monitor may indicate that there is an issue with the video card. Try the uninstall/reinstall process, then the monitor's Self Test facility. These actions should highlight any problems and hopefully remedy them.

Legacy basically means that is is from an old system. As virtually all computers built after 1986 have a 32bit or 64bit hardware command code set, software that uses a 16bit command code set is now old technology...hence legacy.
There is not. And that is because 64bit can run 32bit, but 32bit has problems running 64bit.
If you have a 32bit or 64 bit computer, you have to get the right itunes, or it wont work right.

The software used is 32bit and won't for some reason work on a 64bit windows, meaning you get the screen but no card sets to download are shown, you will need a 64bit version of the software.
The difference between 32bit windows and 64bit windows is the resolution of the image and the higher the bit the better the image.
I cannot answer the question but also have the same problem from (multiple) fresh install. It is a 32bit application that I am trying to install on Windows 8 64bit. I do not think the guys at Iolo have got this one right - and I paid for it!
