Yes, there are both alligators and crocodiles in Florida. Like stated above, alligators and crocodiles both coexist in the Everglades. The Everglades is in Florida. Therefore, they both live in Florida. The American Crocodile resides in the Everglades of Florida.
To be honest everywhere you go in Florida that has marsh landscape you will find alligators. So if you enjoyed Florida in the first place then I think you will enjoy seeing a new area of the state. There are many hiking trails and you can even go on boating adventures to go alligator watching.
Any body of water here in Florida either is, was, or will be home to an alligator. They go in swimming pools from time to time, retention ponds, ditches, lakes, preformed plastic ponds that you buy at the hardware store, little puddles that only fill when there's been a bunch of rain, etc., etc. If it's water in our state, consider there to be an alligator in it.
Not really because alligators need warmer water and WV has colder water so that's why they live in Florida mostly and other warmer body's of water.
They have hard scales also cold blooded. So Florida is hot most of the time so then alligators could get warm by the sun.
I live in Florida so I know, there are mostly water landforms including rivers, bays, and lakes.
Both states have over one million gators, so that's hard to say.
no because it is a vaction site where alot of people bring their families so it would be very dangerous
Yes. I know Alabama, Florida, and Louisiana has alligators. American Alligators are found as far north as Southern North Carolina and west to Texas. The American Crocodile is found in Southern Florida, primarily in the Everglades.
Alligators are found primarily in the Everglades in South Florida and Louisiana. In Florida, there is a new predator that has become a threat to alligators: the Burnese Python. In both states, man has and will always be a threat as we continue to destroy their habitat. The Burmese Python came to Florida by accident in the last 10 years or so and find the Everglades to be the perfect breeding and hunting ground.
it has 458794000000000 lakes so go and check those boring lake out!!!
