very produce alot of poo so it slows the animal down as it is only small so can't carry to much weight

When tortioses hibernate do they move?

Tortioses do move yes, but it isn't in a concious manner. Then often twitch as humans to in their sleep but no movement is actually being made by the toriose voluntarily. There has been known cases where the hibernating tortoise has 'sleep walked', where a tortoise stumbled around even though it was hibernating. Also, they frequently relaz and tense their muscles during hibernation to get a higher comfort level.
