Whales are dying because of whaling (hunting). We kill whales for things like oil, piano keys( made out of their teeth) for food and much much more. But since we killed off so many, and that whales take a long time to reproduce so the whales are dying more then they're being born.

hunters kill them for oil, skin, and meat. Oil spills from oil factories infect whales to death.
well whales sometimes end up on beaches but no one realy noes why
Whales may get killed by becoming beached whales. They often die due to dehydration or drowning when the high tide covers their blowhole. Also, man hunt whales for meat and oil.

How many whales killed every ten years?

It varies by the decade you are on about. Especially when it comes to whaling For whaling alone about 20,000 whales are hunted each decade. If you include boat accidents involving whales and whales dying in captivity then that number increases to around around 200,000 in a decade.

Why are right whales dying?

Right whales are called "right" whales because thy were considered the "right whales to hunt" - they are slow moving and float once killed. This is one reason why they were nearly wiped out. Now days the biggest threat to Right Whales is large ships. Ships often hit the slow moving whales which causes massive internal injuries. Northern Right Whales are far more endangered than Southern Right Whales because there are more shipping lanes in the Northern Oceans.

What can you do about whales dying?

We can all stop- polluting our earth! The next thing we can do is stop using straws and throwing them out. People throw them in the ocean, and the whales get them caught in there blowholes. Everytime you throw out a straw, a whale dies they need their blow hole to live and survive. Stop polluting our waters, and keep the world clean, for you and me and everyone, whales will be healthy as they once were
