If a human gets close to their baby a mother will attack, but wolves never just attack humans randomly. You probably heard rumors that wolves are bad guys, but actually they're quite interesting.

∙ 15y agoIf a wolf attacks another that means they don't belong and is on the wrong territory. Also if the wolf that doesn't belong challenges the alpha it can take its psition. Also if a pack member does something wrong then the alpha will make that wolf submit

∙ 12y agoThe very few - and there are very few - records of a wolf attacking a human invariably fall into one of these three categories:
1) The wolf was starving.
2) The wolf was rabid.
3) The wolf felt it's cubs were being threatened.
Wolves attacking humans make for great fiction stories, but it is beyond rare in real life.

∙ 12y agoQuite simply, they aren't. Wolves prefer to avoid human civilization unless they are desperate for the food found in garbage. We are far more a danger to them.

Not usually. In fact history notes several tales of wolves suckling human babies as their own. Given that wolves are canine, and all dogs stem from wolves, it would not be possible to breed dogs if wolves held a genetic danger to humans. Contrary to legends and folk syories I don't believe their is one factual recording of wolves killing humans. Another piece of useless information for you, Polar Bears are the only animals that just consider humans as meat.
