the first reason behind that attitude is education or what is induced into us men when we are children starting by simplethings like comment that go on in the school grounds then it goes further were men start searching for for reasons to prove their missunderstood concept in order to make sence of it all at the diffrent periods in life .Once the reasoning has been done it all seems normal and it appears to be an actual thought and from that moment on men simply take their missguided concept as fact or (this is how it is) this applies to misconseption and missunderstanding about the opposite sex in general . and many men think that just because they won the girl over ........this means she belongs to you like a trophy.......They some how dont see the fact that the girl is with them because she feels like it.........I have more info if you need
