The definition of "Mormon" is "a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints". I have no idea why anyone would be afraid of that, unless they are afraid of religious people.
Maybe getting to know Mormons a little better will help cure your fears. The official Mormon website has profiles of thousands of Mormons, some including video or links to personal social networking profiles (the link is provided under "Related Links" below). Perhaps if you know what a typical Mormon is like, you won't be afraid of them anymore.

Well, it depends on what kind of courage you want defined. If you are talking about the kind of courage that most people want, then your definition would be: not afraid. But that isn't a realistic kind of courage. It is literally, physically, and emotionally impossible for human kind to ever be completely unafraid. If, however, you want the definition of the kind of courage that all of the known (even if made up) Heroes possessed, then this it your definition: to be afraid of something, but being strong enough to face it anyway.
