Your engine oil cooler is At Fault here almost 99 percent of the time. Replace it and flush your cooling system with dawn dish washing liquid or i use tire cleaner. You will have to do this repeatedly until you have gotten as much as you can out of the cooling system be prepaired to spend a couple hours flushing i prefer to remove the thermostat so i dont have to wait for it to open allows me to just remove the top radiator hose and keep the garden hose running in the radiator filler neck while the engine is running.
I had the oil pan replaced on my 1999 e350 cube van with a 7.3 powerstroke diesel last year. The mechanic had to disconnect the transmission, and raise the engine enough to remove the oil pan.

International Truck and Engine Company makes the PowerStroke Diesel engine for Ford. They also made the 6.9L IDI engine and 7.3L IDI engine. They made the 6.9L IDI, 7.3L IDI, 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel, 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel, and 6.4L Powerstroke Diesel. Ford strayed away from International for 2011 because of many problems with the 6.0L and 6.4L. For 2011, Ford is making its own diesel engine, the 6.7L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel V8.
