Proud to be Canadian
I am proud to be a Canadian because Canada to me has so much to offer. Canada has all four seasons and can be clean at times. The majority of the people who live here are nice. Canada is a peaceful country unlike some other countries that are at war, or protesting. That stuff you don't see here in Canada. It's easy to get a job and it has people all around the world with different religions living here. Yes! Our winters are bad at times and that's why there are some people who call us winterpeg but it still a beautiful place. We have many Provincial and National parks.
- hope this helps. :D

We are proud of our country for many reasons, some of the main ones being: our free health care, our beautiful scenery, and, of course, the one and only, Terry Fox. We also have been on many peacekeeping missions over the past centuries, and in 1988, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded collectively to UN peacekeepers in recognition of their historic efforts to limit violence and promote peace. A Canadian invented peacekeeping and Canada has always been one of the world's most committed peacekeeping nations.
Canada is one of the few sustainable countries in the world. We naturally sink more carbon than we produce, we feed ourselves and the world, we have many divides yet few conflicts, and to top it all off we have invited the world to share our great wealth. Approx 40% of all Canadians are not born in Canada or have at least one parent not born in Canada.
Other countries can't come close to that kind of outreach.
standing for o Canada is a sign of respect for ones country such as Americans do for the national anthem.
I can't speak on behalf of all 34 million Canadians, but personally, it feels pretty good!
