On the contrary, armouring is common on single-core conductors. Frequently, high-voltage underground cables are made up of three, individual, single-core, line conductors. These are most definitely armoured to protect them against penetration by the trench backfill and to protect workers who may accidentally hit them with tools.
A single-phase cable will have a line and a neutral conductor and, possibly, but not necessarily, an earth (ground) conductor. A high-voltage three-phase cable will have three line conductors. A low-voltage three-phase cable is likely to have three line conductors and a neutral conductor.
Same as any other building
It is done to carry more current at rated power & to reduce the power loss as compared to cable since a bus-bar has more area compared to cable so resistance is less & hence losses are reduced. A switching station is used to switch high-voltage power into different routes (cables and lines) or, as loading changes during a day, into different transformers in the switching station. Also a switching station is needed to be able to isolate (switch off) a route for maintenance work that can't be done while the cables and lines are "hot". In the power distribution industry the engineers talk about "cables" going underground or undersea and "lines", hung from big insulators, carried by big steel towers that go across the countryside. In electrical engineering applications a "wire" is usually a relatively thin conductor, most often made of Copper and usually protected by insulation. An electrical "power cable" usually contains more than one conductor. A typical power cable would have 3 "hot" Phase conductors and sometimes a Ground too. An electrical "power line" is most often a single thick conductor having a steel "core" for strength. The core is wrapped in copper, or an alloy of it, for good conductivity. A power line is used to carry a single Phase or a Neutral, and is not usually covered in insulation. In power distribution engineering a "power line" is never confused with a "power cable" as it helps to keep those technical terms distinct when describing a power distribution network.
Splicing of optical fiber cable is done to extend a cable, making it longer, or to repair a break in it. Splicing is preferred over installation of connectors, because the connectors introduce losses and degrade reliability. Some connectors are necessary, but those are placed in a protected environment, and their use is minimized. Besides, a typical cable, with 56 or more strands, would require 56 or more connectors, and that would create a large lump in the cable.

this website is horrible
Cladding in optical fibre is done for the total internal reflection of the waves propagating inside the fibre. The core of the fibre is made of material with less refractive index value than the material covering the core. When wave falls on the high refractive index material passing through the core it is reflected back.
Yes I have done that but you will need to match the cable with the phone plug.
nope
buy the proper battery and the cable will fit, or replace the cable with on that will
There is no cable....It's all done with a sensor and electronics.
They need to experience hard core sex for this to be done
Yes it can. I've done it plenty of times (my computer uses a 1.8GHz dual-core). I've played UT2004 and Need for Speed Most Wanted fine on it. Mind you, if your computer has a 1.6GHz processor, increase the RAM to the maximum supported, it really helps.
No cable, all controls are done with electric motors.
yes
