What is the difference between a floating output signal generator and a grounded output signal generator?

A signal generator can be used to function in two ways. In high frequencies, one of output probes of any generator (negative probe) will be grounded automatically, hence it has to be connected with grounded parts of other elements not to create a short circuit problem. But, in the case of floating type (f<100 Hz, generally) probes of the signal generator is not grounded.

What is a transistor that is normally on with no applied signal?

The PNP transistors conducts when there is no signal at base (0V or grounded), when base current is increased the conduction of PNP transistor decreases.

Why base in grounded in common emitter transistor as amplifier?

With a common emitter amplifier it's the emitter that is usually grounded.

Which is better double insulated or grounded?

It is best to use both, then usually grounded, then double insulated is just OK.

Wires may not be grounded. Trace wires to see if one has split or pulled away.

What is the ratio of the output signal to the input signal of an amplifier that is usually measured in decibels?

Answer is GAIN

How do you fix a turn signal that flashes three times faster than it should on a 2001 VW Beetle?

Check all of the bulbs. If it's flashing rapidly like that it usually means that one or more of the bulbs are burned out or that one or more of the light sockets is not properly grounded.

What is ac ground?

If a circuit is grounded through a capacitor it is referred to as AC ground because ac signal can pass through the capacitor DC level is blocked
