It rather depends why the migrants are here ! Immigrants that come here legally, and who are actively employed (paying taxes etc) are usually welcome. The 'problem' is - we're a little fed up of paying taxes - only to have a sizeable portion 'donated' to re-settling illegal immigrants here !
I appreciate there are repressive regimes in certain countries but - the UK is an island - there's a limited amount of space, and anyone wanting to relocate here - should be able to support themselves financially ! It's time the 'free handouts' were stopped !
