a loud alarm and one that wont let the car start is good.
if you did disconnect the alarm, it wouldn't let you start the car because of the immboliser
my hand set wont unlock my doors with new batteries and when i unlock the door with the key and open it the alarm sounds and wont let me start the car
if the display says "service theft alarm" or "key not accepted" put the key in the ignition, press the unlock button on the key several times and turn it it will start
Take your Jeep to a car alarm shop. There they can either bypass it for you and/or install a new module for you. The OEM alarm system is pain in the butt and you need to let the pro's handle this.
To disable the factory alarm on a 2000 Mercury Villager, put the key in the ignition and turn it halfway. Let it stay in the spot for 10 minutes and start the car.
First of all it's a Sebring... place dynamite under the car. Make sure not to touch it (the car I mean)! Then blow up dynamite and well problem solved.
you need to disconnect the horn first, change your battery, start the engine, let idle for a minute, turn off car, reconnect horn, start car again. If car does not start and alarm resounds, try starting the car while flicking the kill switch back and forth it should catch and restart. I just went through this myself.
you cant. the cars computer will not let it. you need the computer chip key.
My favorite question.......check this out....there is an anti theft device on your Chrysler verhicle.....use your key to unlock your back hatch. that will deactivate your alarm and turn off the auto shut off fuction of your security alarm...same with grand Cherokees. Kyle remember make sure all the doors are locked and the alarm is going off.....then unlock the back hatch. don't ask why i don't know but it always always works lol. good luck. KYLE
you have to jump on his car to set off the alarm on his car and when he walks by, sneak into the house.
Yes a site called wareseeker.com will let you download your own alarm sounds. There are very few car alarm systems that allow you to import your own sounds. The systems that do allow this are on the expensive end of the car alarm price spectrum. I would suggest instead going with an alarm system that already has a sound that suits your needs or one that has multiple selections that can be changed.
