Beta blockers are a group of drugs that have various effects on the cardiovascular system. A common side effect can be cold hands and feet. Generally, beta blockers affect the heart and blood pressure by causing the heart to beat with less force and by slowing it down. Beta blockers slow the heart and make it pump less strongly therefore there isn't much glucose and oxygen reaching the muscles. They also have many side effects like tiredness, shortness of breath, swelling of feet, vomiting, diarrhea and irregular heartbeat.
