Because in boarding school education is excellent, all teachers are very co-operative, highly educated and professional. Generally, boarding schools have small class sizes that help teachers give proper attention to the all students in the classroom. Moreover, boarding schools give special importance on club and extra-curricular activities. Students become independent and discplined. They can face any challenge effectively without help of anyone. Even I also studied in DPS Badhani (DPSbadhani.Com) and I have great experience over there.

Day schools are way better than boarding schools because the fun that you have with friends you can never experience it at a boarding school. Boarding schools put a lot of pressure on children beforehand on learning about things like how to live, how to deal with emotions, how to behave and that kind of nonsense. I am calling it nonsense in respect to a boarding school because these are the things that you learn slowly through a process called maturing. Boarding schools speed up this process and normally leave children even more confused than what they should be. Boarding schools sometimes leave depressing memories and those are the memories of mistakes, sometimes bullying, sometimes memories of things they did which they regret all through their lives(rare cases). True that hostels can also give good memories, but the best advice that I can give is to try and avoid staying in boarding for more than a year. Any child who goes to boarding will always have suffered the problem of dominance sometimes even to much and sometimes be very demoralizing for a child growth. What does the person who runs the boarding school know what is happening between the children who stay there. the most that they will know about the problems will only be glimpses. I again repeat my advice, boarding are not to be encouraged much, the maximum time that should be spent in a boarding school must be a year.

What were boarding schools in 1940's England like and what did the boysgirls do on weekends for fun?

English boarding schools in the 1940's were considered to be very prestigious and therefore highly coveted. Parents who were able to afford boarding school preferred to send their kids to boarding school. They were known for having a much better education than any other schools. The boys and girls would play outside, listen to music on a communal record player, read, and play games. Most boarding schools allowed kids who were over 11-12 years old to visit town on Saturdays to spend their money, if they had any. Sometimes the boarding schools would offer a film show on the weekends. With the war going on during the 1940's, boys and girls did experience rations and had to do without some of the stuff they were used to at home, pre-war.
