Because you might love them but not be IN LOVE with them. You can still love someone after breaking up with them.
Maybe you realized that the relationship will not go anywhere, that they are not really the one or that it's not the right time for a relationship. This does not mean that you can't still hang out with them and be friends, take it slow and see if there could be a chance in the future for a relationship again.

∙ 15y agoHe/she might think it's for the better, or perhaps you did something to upset him/her? Maybe they think that what you give them isn't what they actually want. Don't keep asking yourself this question, it will only make you depressed. Get over him/her, be friends, move on.
