Think of it this way ... Cocaine is a great drug, it will make you feel euphoric, full of energy etc. according to medical data. However that feeling only lasts a short time, and it leaves you wanting more and more, until the negative effects of Cocaine use eventually cause death. The same is true of Meth and other abused drugs.

The idea transfers to things one eats, especially those items our Father did not design for human consumption. While consuming them the human will feel irregular or even sickly, eventually however the consumption of non approved foods will take their toll.
