Missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) may contact friends and family by letter or e-mail once a week. They can only call home twice a year, on Mothers Day and Christmas, unless there is an emergency such as serious illness or death in the family.
Missionaries are supposed to focus all of their time and energy on preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and serving the people in the area where they are located, so contact with anyone not associated with their mission work (including friends and family back home) is limited.

i think as the name implies,Missionaries are missionaries. they are in missionaries. They are going to join or going to influence/ teach people they never saw before. It is just this, they eat what ever they got there. we used to do mission when i was in college with my friends. we went far away from our town, we saw different culture and eating. We had to join them what ever it is, because its all about mission,sharing love and meal. thank you

No, not while she is serving her mission. She needs to be free from any distractions, plus mission rules do not allow a missionary, male or female, to engage in romantic physical contact with anyone.
Can a relationship with a Mormon Missionary Last?
This depends on both of the people. The Mormon church recommend missionary's to not be in a relationship before they leave so they can serve god fully. If both are faithful I really don't see why a relationship wouldn't last.
