As far as we understand physics today, we won't ever be able to get to the speed of light. The faster you go, the harder it gets to go any faster. So that last little fraction will "always" remain impossible - or at least until someone invents a whole new branch of physics.

By forcing out gas in the opposite direction at high speed. Every action having an equal and opposite reaction.

What are Rocket Science Facts?

It takes a rocket only 8 minutes to accelerate to a speed of 15,000 miles per hour

Does light speed accelerate or is it instantaneous velocity?

Instantaneous.

What happens to the concord at the speed of light?

The Concord never got anywhere near the speed of light. Neither did any rocket ship, space probe, satellite, comet, asteroid, meteor, etc.

Why you cannot accelerate electrons greater than the velocity of light in free space?

Nothing can be made to move faster than the speed of light in a vacuum; for objects that move slower than light, even reaching the speed of light would require an infinite energy.

What are some REALLY hard science questions?

What was the name of a copyrighted text in 1995.....there's one << OR What happens to space-time when entering a black hole? OR Why can't a charged particle accelerate to the speed of light? OR Why is the speed of light constant?

What was the fastest rocket speed?

The rocket that takes space shuttles into space recorded speeds f up to 40,000kmph. The space shuttles' rockets record up to 25,000kmph. There are also slower speed rockets.

Can a space ship travel at the speed of light with the support of a artificial worm hole the spaceship will be charged with opposing ionsspace HHeopposite of Heto create space for occupantsship?

it is impossible to accelerate to that speed simply due to the reletivistic velocity additional formula

What is the use of rocket to launch a satellite?

Rockets are used as engines to accelerate the satellite to a speed fast enough to get it in orbit.

What propells a rocket?

The fuel being ignited by a spark is what propels a rocket to blast off. The mass and the speed are factors as well.

What is the acceleration of light?

That depends on what your light ray is traveling through. If through vacuum, then its speed is 299,792,458 meters per second. If through anything else but vacuum, then (299,792,458 meters per second) divided by (the index of refraction of that material.

Does light accelerate?

No. As long as it stays in the same material, its speed is constant.
