Why can't my Sim sleep in the coffin I just bought in the Sims 2?

You should click on the bed and say sleep in underwear...sleep in pyjamas,etc.. Or sometimes the sim is too awake and he will only relax in the coffin. sometimes if your sim is in a very bad mood or sick he or she wont do what you command them. Hope i helped!

Improved: A vampire doesn't need to not be tired to get into a coffin, once i had the same problem....! Unlike usual Sims, Vampires can hear better, so if there's something/someone else making noise in the room such as a radio or a toy get it out quickly! If it doesn't work just try moving coffin somewhere else, OR moving house!
