Any television used in a moving vehicle needs an antenna outside of the cab. Many truck stops sell a rabbit-ear style antenna that clips to the top of a rolled up side window. Connect the cable to the TV set and don't forget to RESCAN the set often. The next town will have different channels, the range might be limited to about 5 or 10 miles.

You can try researching for channels on the freeview box. Normally under first time installation. Look at the freeview digital switchover guide on there website for instructions. You may not be able to get ITV1 in your area though.
If you're unable to receive BBC One and BBC Two after retuning your digital TV, it may be due to several reasons. You could be outside the coverage area for these channels or experiencing interference from other signals. Additionally, an issue with the aerial or a faulty tuner in your TV could be preventing proper reception. It's also possible that the channels are not available in your region due to licensing restrictions or changes in broadcasting frequencies.

Does your TV have an analogue mode? If it does, simply tune in the analogue channels as normal, including your Sky on channel 6. If this TV is in the same room as the Sky box, hook it up using a scart lead and switch to AV mode to watch it.
