Of course they can survive in Canada, as they do in many safari reserves, but they are not native to the Americas.

If you are referring to the Tamil Tigers, they are a terrorist group banned in Canada.

No, tigers cannot live in Canada, and here's why:

  1. There aren't the right food sources for them there (impala, elk, other things they eat)
  2. The temperature is not the same, so tigers would suffer from it being too cold
  3. The people are different.

__

Tigers could survive very well in Canada.

  1. Canada has elk and other large mammals. As a matter of fact there is a sizable elk population, not to mention moose, deer etc.
  2. Some breeds of tigers thrive in cold temperatures. The Siberian Tiger for instance would adapt very well. They live in a cold climate as it is. Other tigers could adapt well to more temperate areas. Not all of Canada is cold.
  3. The people are different is irrelevant to the question. People being different is a cultural thing, and unless tigers suffer from culture shock, it hardly matters.
