Why can the flasher sound still be heard when the turn signals aren't on on a Suzuki Esteem 2001?

I don't know if this is what's going on with your Esteem, but I was getting what sounded like my turn signal was on when it wasn't. I finally realized that the sound was coming from the radio antenna. the antenna would 'waggle' from movement or even just wind and would make a rhythmic clicking sound like a turn signal

Your turn signals and hazards use separate flashers. Your hazard flasher might have bitten the dust. FriPilot sounds like the horn/horns arent working. also sounds like the hazard switch is inop

It might be the turn selector itself malfunctioning, or atleast that's what it sounds like, they arent hard to replace its just that a new one would cost around 100 dollars cause they have the headlight dimmer switch built into them

Either that, OR ALL of the turn signal lamps [bulbs] are burned out [very highly unlikely!!!!!].Usually, the flasher relay is located on/in the fuse panel or close by. Most flasher relays are aluminum colored, and are a cylindrical device about one inch in diameter and about 3/4s of an inch high, and they simply "plug" into a receptacle via pins on the base of the relay.Simply unplug the flasher relay from the panel and take it to any auto parts supply store [even Walmart has 'em], and get an identical replacement, plug it in, and you should have turn signals again.
