Assuming you received the original seed legally, you signed a legally binding agreement with the supplier (and, by affiliation, with Monsanto Co.) that you would not do so. Monsanto wants to protect their research investment and so have come up with this method to try to prevent anyone stealing their technology.
Other than the legal agreement, there is no botanical reason why you couldn't plant your non-hybrid harvested seeds such as soybeans. Harvested hybrid corn, though, will not produce the same plant as the original F1 hybrid. You would not be very pleased with its field performance, though it would still be glyphosate-resistant.
To oversimplify it, a gene is inserted into the plant that keeps the plant from metabolizing glyphosate (roundup).
do you have roundup ready pumpkin seed
Yes you can. You would need to wait about 7 days after using the roundup to plant seed. If you have roundup extended control, you will have to wait 4 months. If you have used Roundup Poison Ivy Plus Tough Brush Killer, wait 6-8 weeks.
Monsanto owns the rights to the RoundupReady gene, but several different seed companies produce seed with the trait in it.
yes, you can plant a plant that you grew from seed, it is best (if you are planting outside) that you "harden off" your plant by putting outside during the day and taking it in at night so it can get used to the change in environment, do that for a week or so before planting it in the ground
Yes, rice is a plant. The rice that we eat is the seed of the rice plant, just as wheat is the seed of the wheat plant. Both rice and wheat are types of grass.
To germinate is to begin life, as in "the tomato seed germinated and grew into a tomato plant."
you put the secret code in its this hobbididance if you do not get Iggy u will get Roxythe seed will be in your garden ready to plant on the seed it will say Roxy seed or Iggy seed
In most instances you can plant in areas treated with RoundUp 7 days after using the product. The only exception would be if you used Roundup Extended Control (then you would have to wait 4 months) or Roundup Poison Ivy Plus Tough Brush Killer (wait 6-8 weeks)
Seed DispersalIf all new plants grew near mother plant, the soil they would grew will become very crowded. There would not be enough space, air, water and food for all of them to grow well. So they need toseparate from the parent plant they need to disperse

Yes, but you will have better results if you kill your existing grass now with glyphosate (RoundUp, yes I know they are evil but it works) and wait until late summer.
