You try to lock your car from the outside but the popper only goes down half way and so doesnt lock how can you fix it?

The door lock actuator needs to be replaced if it only has enough strength to bring the lock down half way. To replace the door lock actuator remove the door panel and unplug the old unit. Be sure to note where the locking mechanisms are set to correctly place the new unit.

Why would your 1986 jeep just stop locking in the front hubs?

vacuum actuator is bad, there could be a hose that is missing, the hose might be weathered and cracked or cut, vacuum actuator might be all gummed up and crappy lookin on the inside, a simple cleaning might work, other then that a new actuator might be a need, not hard to install though

Why does the driver's side door lock stick on your 2000 Acura 1.6 EL It's interrupting the operation of the remote keyless entry locking and unlocking functions?

Failing power door lock actuator. The actuator has a switch as part of the assembly. Honda uses the switch in that actuator to trigger all the doors, just like when you operate the lock manually. When the actuator driver door actuator goes, the whole system acts strange. Part typically costs about $25USD, but requires a bit of labor to install.

How do you remove locking wheel nuts?

Find a socket that is slightly smaller than the lock nut. Hammer it on with a 5lb sledge and take it off with a breaker bar. Use a socket that you won't miss as you will never get the nut out of it. This is an old wives tale, it does not work on modern locking nuts, the spinning ring prevents it. Google ' locking wheel nuts removed . com'

My 2000 Jetta VR6 has started locking all doors autom. while engine is off... I thought this was not possible and VW claims it 2b a safety feature that keys cannot be locked in the car. Right?
