Clipping a dogs ears is a very painful process, and should only be done if you plan on showing your dog. You should never clip your dog's ears yourself. The dog will need to be anesthetized ... for obvious reasons. Veterinarians have the necessary skills, equipment and medicines to accomplish this task ... let them do this. Your dog friend will appreciate it.

∙ 15y agoI highly don't recommend this. There might be complications you don't know how to handle and that could cause directly your pet's death. I recommend you take the puppy to the vet. Kepp in mind that the cheapest options isn't always the best option for your dog's health.

∙ 14y agoYou should never attempt to clip your Pit Bulls ears yourself. It must be done by a trained Veterinarian, under anesthesia & with antibiotics to ward off infection. Doing this at home can result in trauma, infection & even death.
